Jan Macey

Jan was a founder member of the Trust, being appointed to the Board in 2015. She had been a Governor at St. John’s Primary school for over 15 years and had also been a Governor at Cheslyn Hay Sport and Community High School for a number of years. She has extensive experience both leading and working with committees in Finance and Personnel. Jan has been employed in various administration and customer services roles throughout her career and is currently Company Secretary for two engineering companies. 

Jan is also currently the Chair of the Local Governing Body at Gentleshaw Primary Academy and is Chair of the Trust’s Finance and Resources Committee as well as a member of the Pay Committee. Jan is an experienced governor and along with her business expertise ensures that all financial aspects of the Trust are managed well alongside providing governance challenges.
